Pastor Nick began as the pastor of Colfax Church of the Nazarene in September of 2023. Pastor Nick graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho as a Christian Ministries Major in 2020. In April of 2023, he graduated with his Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He is originally from Fairfield, California. His father, Scott Walker, is also a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene, and his mother works as an Attendance Secretary of a local high school. He has two sisters, named Brianna and Mikayla, who are both English teachers. Pastor Nick was called into ministry at 17 years old and has dedicated his life to pursuing that call ever since. He loves his church family and desires to see God work powerfully in Colfax.
Additionally, Pastor Nick is a huge sports fan. He primarily cheers for teams from the California Bay Area and Kansas City. His favorite teams include the San Francisco Giants, the Golden State Warriors, the San Francisco 49ers, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Boise State Broncos, and the Kansas Jayhawks.
